This assessment is conducted to provide a well-supported determination of the vessel’s fair market value. It is often required for financing, estate settlements, donations, and legal proceedings, or simply when an owner wishes to establish the current value of their asset. A full comprehensive report may not be necessary reducing the cost of the assessment depending on each customer's needs.
